Proprietary vs. open source
There are many software options in which schools are responsible to buy the software products. As educators we should share our knowledge of open source resources to our students. An example of this would be Microsoft Word. If someone was to purchase the products it would be for their use and the terms under the policy. Open sources such as Google documents is open to the public to use and share their work through.
